Create Excel 2007 file using Interop services. First of all we have to create a new Console Application; let us see the description with images of how to create it. Excel creates XLS and XLSX files. These files are hard to read in C# programs. They are handled with the Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel assembly. This assembly sometimes creates performance issues. I found some files on my drive related to interop but cant find the Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.DLL so i can copy it and place it into the proper folder that the other program needs. I would need help to find this file or would need the new name to use instead of Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.dll in order to make this other program work. Excel creates XLS and XLSX files.
